Benjamin Franklin Lives: A Living-History Performance

Join us for the capstone event of Benjamin Franklin’s 320th Birthday Celebration!
On Monday, January 19 (MLK Jr. Day), the Moore-Morris History and Culture Center invites you to an intimate afternoon with one of America’s most iconic founding fathers. Acclaimed actor and historical impersonator Tony Rollo brings his celebrated performance, Benjamin Franklin Lives, to Franklin for a special one-day engagement.
Experience history coming to life as Franklin reflects on his storied career. Having just returned from Paris after serving as ambassador to France, he prepares to “pass the baton” to his friend and occasional rival, Thomas Jefferson. Blending history, humor, and storytelling, this performance offers a lively portrait of the man often described as “America’s first rock star.”
