Museum Without Walls
We’re Relocating, But Our Mission Hasn't Skipped a Beat!
While 108 Bridge Street served as a wonderful home for our stories, the Moore-Morris History and Culture Center is officially preparing for its future permanent home within the historic LeHew Mansion at Franklin Grove Estate & Gardens. This transition allows us to integrate our history into a premier, multi-faceted cultural destination for all of Williamson County.
In the meantime, we are thrilled to introduce Museum Without Walls—a year-long series of mobile programming and community activations launching throughout 2026. Though our physical doors at Bridge Street are closing, our mission is accelerating; by taking our exhibits "on the road," we are ensuring that local heritage remains accessible, engaging, and vibrant as we move toward our next chapter.
Bringing America’s 250th Home to Williamson County
A National Milestone: In 2026, we join the nation in celebrating the Semiquincentennial, marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Local Roots, National Stories: Through our "Museum Without Walls," we are connecting two and a half centuries of American history directly to the people and places in our own backyard.
Our Shared Influence: Explore how the social, economic, and cultural heritage of Williamson County has shaped the larger American narrative from 1776 to today.
A Living Celebration: Join us as we steward and exhibit the local artifacts and immersive stories that bring this quarter-millennium milestone to life across our community.
We aren't just a building; we are a living history resource. By taking our exhibits and programs "on the road," we are ensuring that local heritage remains accessible, engaging, and vibrant during our transition to Franklin Grove Estate & Gardens.
