America’s 250th Anniversary

In 2026, the United States will celebrate 250 years since the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This milestone is called the Semiquincentennial, marking a quarter of a millennium of American history. At the heart of the celebration is the opportunity to connect local history to national stories.

Our mission is to steward, interpret, and exhibit artifacts and immersive narratives related to the social, economic, and cultural history of Williamson County and its regional and national influence. Through this lens, we can see how the events and people of our community contributed to the larger American story.
