Timeless Tales: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Join us for a special edition of Timeless Tales!

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are partnering with BetterOptionsTN for a morning of bilingual storytelling, music, and dance.

When: Friday, September 11th | 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Where: The Franklin Theatre

We will be reading the delightful bilingual tale How Do You Say? / ¿Cómo Se Dice? (1984) by Angela Dominguez. Follow along as two young giraffes meet, celebrate, and become friends, reminding readers of all ages how wonderful it is to make new friends and amigos.

Our guest reader will be Ana Martinez, Programs Director for BetterOptionsTN. BetterOptionsTN provides essential support to newcomers and community members navigating language and system barriers, helping them move toward independence. Following the story, children will have the opportunity to celebrate Hispanic culture through an interactive experience featuring music and dance.
