Caitlin and Austin prioritized a small, intimate venue for their elopement that only included a small circle of family and friends. Natural light streamed through the oversized windows to illuminate a tender ceremony followed by a golden-hour reception, and the ivy outside offered a gorgeous contrast to Caitlin’s black and white ball gown.

Photographer Abby Hunter was floored with the venue: “I had never shot at McConnell House in Franklin before this- but boy was it a treat! The lighting was perfect in all the rooms and I usually hate brick but honestly it was so pretty in this setting. This venue was actually the county’s first jail back in the day- crazy! Check out how beautiful it is!!!”
