The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County has announced the hiring of Morgan Floyd to the position of Director of Event and Tourism Sales. Morgan will oversee all aspects of the History and Culture Center, including managing private event rental opportunities for The History & Culture Center and The Franklin Theatre.

Morgan brings a wealth of experience to the Heritage Foundation, having worked in the event space for over 17 years. She previously owned and operated a wedding and event planning company in her hometown of Kansas City, Missouri.

In March 2022, the Heritage Foundation acquired the property on Bridge Street, once known as the McConnell House, renaming it The History & Culture Center of Williamson County. This distinguished building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and boasts a rich history of hosting private events, including  corporate meetings, weddings, receptions, and social gatherings. The Heritage Foundation intends to maintain this legacy of offering the space for rentals, serving the community, and ensuring our nonprofit organization’s financial stability.
